Am I wrong for feeling annoyed?

So I got pregnant with my 1st in February 2021 and had my baby in November and my cousin also got pregnant with her 2nd march 2021, which was a little annoying because I wanted my first pregnancy to be special to everyone else but since there was 2 pregnancies and 2 babies I feel like it took away from me and my baby. Well I just got pregnant again in December and I just told my whole family, a couple days later, this same cousin tells everyone she’s pregnant and our due dates are super close together. I’m just like omg I can never just have a pregnancy and baby to myself, I always have to share the shine. There hasn’t been babies in my family in years and when this is a pregnancy usually that baby/kid gets to have the shine for at least 3/4 years.

I don’t know if it your pregnancy hormones but you can’t stop people from when they are going to get pregnant! You will have your baby and she will have hers all the family on both sides will love the child no matter what. I wouldn’t care who is pregnant in the family as long as my baby is healthy and loved.

My brothers baby is just a few weeks younger than my son but he didnt want to walk all over me so he didn’t tell anyone about his son until he was born. I felt absolutely awful that they didn’t get to share their joy with the family and without me knowing my baby got all the attention. If I could go back and do it all over again I would make sure he was the center of attention or at least that we shared it! That said the boys have grown up together and are the best of friends! I wish they had had another when I had my second so they could grow up together too.

Not sure why this is bothering you so much I loved having babies with my sister in laws , my own sister or close friends !!!! Not sure how that’s always sharing the shines every baby and pregnancy is special in its own way! I think your overreacting to be honest!

My sister and I were pregnant together, she was 2 months behind me. It was so fun being pregnant together and our kids are best friends🤷🏻‍♀️ I got pregnant again, she got pregnant at the same time, I miscarried, and she had a healthy baby. I love both of her kids as if they’re my own. 
You don’t get to choose when other people have kids, it’s selfish of you to expect everything to be about you and your baby.

I'd be excited my baby has a cousin the same age. My SIL and I will both be TTC at the same time later this year and I HOPE we will be pregnant at the same time. It makes me happy to think how much love and joy will be in the family. Tell your family to stop the comparisons between the babies because you want them to be friends not rivals.
