Long periods after getting the implant?

Hi! First time posting but im just wondering if anyone else has the implant and has the same issues. I have been on my period for the last two months and im just not sure how I can stop the bleeding. Any advice would be appreciated!

I had very unpredictable cycles and very long periods when I had the implant I ended up getting it taken out after a little over a year I just couldn't take it anymore!

This can happen with progestin only methods like the implant. If ur able to use estrogen ur doctor may prescribe u a low dose combination birth control pill to take for a brief time to try & help lessen or stop it. If ur not able to use estrogen, they may prescribe progesterone/progestin pills instead that may help stop it.
