Strange spotting

I'm not sure how to ask this with out it not making since. I apologize in advance if it doesn't.

My last period was at the beginning of December I took a test in January when I was two weeks late. I had a faint positive and already had an appointment with my OB fo something non related and while I was at my appointment they test me and my OB also had blood work done it was negative so the home test I guess was a false positive. Now lets fast forward to last week all last week I've had light spotting that is only seen on tolit paper along with mild cramps (this isn't normal for me) there is no odor to it as well. I did message my OB yesterday he said to just keep an eye on it for now. I am now bleeding but again it is only seen on tolit papper and not heavy its like a light pink. My husband and I were trying for baby number two but my health hasn't been the greatest so we stopped trying but we are not doing anything to prevent it. I'm wondering if anyone has experience this and what it might be.
