Periods on IUD

Hello, I have had my IUD for 2 years now and I have never had a physical bright red period since 6 months after I got it placed. I have only had very very light pastel pink milky discharge for like a 1-3 days. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m clearly not pregnant cause I would have 100% shown by now and had other symptoms. I was told I would have my period once either 6 months or once a year and it could be very heavy lasting a while. My first period lasted I think almost 2 weeks and I had THE worst period cramps I have ever felt.
