Baby is refusing crib now he can roll

So my baby has become a drama this week. His dad had covid over the weekend so we both isolated away which meant sleeping in the living room, well he’s figured out how to roll from back to belly but not belly to back, so he rolls in his sleep which wakes him up and he screams until I pick him up, he immediately goes back to sleep but the second he’s in the crib: screaming.

I hate to admit it but I gave in and we’ve ended up co sleeping, I need my rest to be the best mum possible for him but I don’t want to cosleep. He’s teething too. He cried so much the other night his voice is hoarse and I feel sorry for him, I’ve tried putting him in his gro bag, putting him in bed half awake, when in a deep sleep, with nothing at all in the crib — but it’s not working. The room is dark and we play white noise.

I need him to go in his crib, or for a way to get him to stop rolling so he doesn’t wake up, he was doing so well in his crib up to now!
