I think I burst my eardrum

I was on a flight and our flight was an hour early so we had to circle around and we stayed at an altitude that KILLED my ear for a solid 30 min

The pain kept getting worse and worse to the point I was rocking back and forth and punching my chair and crying so bad…. Chewing gum made it hurt worse because it made it have this crunchy sounding sensation and I ended up taking a napkin and shoving it in my ear and holding it really tight there and it barely helped

All of a sudden the pain built up so bad I almost screamed and then all of a sudden I literally HEARD my ear go “pooooof” and the pain was immediately gone… I genetically don’t have great hearing to begin with so I really can’t tell if my hearing was affected but from what I read on Google it doesn’t sound like you lose your hearing EVERY time an ear drum burst…. It’s definitely likely and common but it doesn’t happen every time

It’s been like 7 hours since we landed and now it really hurts if I go outside because the pressure from the wind and the pressure from the car really hurts it

And when I swollen I can hear that crunching sound…. It honestly almost hurts all the way into my throat like an ear infection would… it’s not a terrible pain and most definitely better than what I was experiencing on the plain, but I’m worried my ear drum is burst
