Has anyone had their drink spiked before?

I was just on my honeymoon in Mexico and my husband and I are 99% sure one of the bartenders spiked our drink

My husband for one can handle a LOT of booze. He can straight up have like 10 drinks and not even have a buzz let alone be drunk

We were sitting at a bar drinking (at our resort) and I was on my 4th drink total of the entire DAY and it was like 3pm…. Just for background purposes, I didn’t finish my 3rd drink.. I drank maybe 1/4 of it? And then I had nothing but water for the next hour.. I didn’t have a buzz or anything

Around 3pm I got a spicy margarita and drank, again, probably 1/4 of it.. for reference again, the drink was in a cup that was probably no bigger than 12-16oz

My husband and I with in 10 min of our new drinks started FEELING it. We decided to go back to our room and we legit don’t remember ever leaving the bar… we both remember discussing leaving but have zero memory of actually leaving and getting to our room which is a 5 min walk from the bar to the room…. To the point where we got to our room and I started freaking out thinking I left my purse and shoes downstairs!!

We both felt extremely drunk despite not drinking a lot and decided to take a shower… once we were in the shower, I felt so dizzy and weird I ended up falling and hitting my head and I hit it so hard I threw up… there was a bench in the shower and my husband helped me sit on it and my head was resting on his arm and I literally could feel myself starting to pass out and not be conscious.

My husband wasn’t as bad as me but the difference in how he looked from at the bar to when we were in the shower was crazy.. his eyes were squinted and he was slurring his words like crazy

We ended up flooding our entire bathroom and hotel room to the point where there was water in the hallway!!!!!… my husband wrapped me in a robe because there was housekeeping at the door and for me into bed and gave me a garbage can and I threw up again and then passed out with my head in the garbage can. I’m 25 years old and I can tell you HONESTLY I have never in my life been drunk enough to do that!!!!

I’m 99% sure we got roofied. I can’t say for sure it was the bar tender but I can’t imagine someone next to us would have possibly been able to drop something in our drinks at the same time and us not notice

Also I want the add the alcohol they used in both of our drinks was not even 30 proof and they put less than a full shot in each of our drinks so that’s also how I have a very strong feeling that I wasn’t just drunk
