Is this okay?

Question

I’ve been on the same birth control pill for 7 months and this week I just started bleeding between periods. I usually start right when I finish the last week on pills and it stops the week I start the pill back. I just had my period 2 weeks ago and I started spotting two days ago and it’s still happening with some minor cramps. I’m right in the middle of my birth control pack. Not taking any other meds and nothing else has changed. I read break through bleeding could happen but usually within the first few weeks. Any one experience this?

Yup. Been there before. I was on Lo Loestrin Fe for a few years. I was constantly having breakthrough bleeding, despite being on it for awhile. Breakthrough bleeding can essentially happen at any point, sadly. It’s a very common side effect. My period almost never lined up with the placebo pills, lol. It’s was always all over the place and unpredictable. 
I shared my concern with my doctor and she mentioned the breakthrough bleeding is associated with the dose. Sometimes the dose is too little or too much. In my case, Lo Loestrin Fe is a very low dose pill that my body was constantly at a “red light green lights” phase. Lol!! Period, no period, period, no period. 
Since you’ve been on it for 7 months, it sounds like your body has adjust to a similar situation. It’s very normal but very annoying. I’d discuss with your doctor about alternative doses you can try.
