VBAC or repeat C Section?

Just looking for opinions because I’m low key freaking out. I had an elective c section with my daughter back in 2018, which is good because I would’ve had to have had surgery anyway for a cystectomy so they just got 2 birds stoned at once with that one. Now I’m having a boy due 5.22 and I was originally going to do a repeat c section but now I don’t know if it’s safer to have a vaginal birth. I’m worried about possible complications such as what if the cord gets wrapped around his neck, or what if I have to have an emergency c section? What if I can’t handle labor? But also, I want more kids in the future and I don’t know how many c sections you’re able to have in a lifetime without major complications. I have an appointment 3.8 with my OB so I’ll definitely discuss this with her but I wanted to hear some opinions from anyone who’s had a VBAC or multiple c sections, just trying to get the best background info I can before making any decisions. I had a scheduled c section with my first (she was frank breech) and I chose a VBAC for my second. After researching the risks of both, I found the risks of having a repeat c section greater than a VBAC. The biggest risk of a VBAC is uterine rupture, but it’s less than 1%. 
They typically don’t let you have more than 3 c sections and I knew I wanted 3-4 kids. I also wanted to experience labor, since I didn’t get to with my first. Another thing I considered was the recovery. My recovery from my c section was AWFUL, and knew I didn’t want to try to go through that again with both a toddler and a newborn to care for. 
I will be going for my second VBAC with my May baby.

My first was an emergency c section. And i didn’t want a repeat of me trying to have a natural birth. So i decided on a repeat C-section. Ik how to handle recovery now so I’m prepared for it..

I had an elective c-section with my first and hated it so I considered vbac. My doc was very anti c-section so I expected her to support vbac. However she laid out all the ways my uterus could rupture or I could bleed to death or have to have a hysterectomy and those risks are too much for me. Of course many people do it just fine all the time but I was freaked out. I also was concerned about putting my body thru labor and then having to have a c-section anyway when the conditions are less ideal. I’m not thrilled to do c-sec again but it is the best of the not great choices.
