Clear blue monitor.

I use my clear blue fertility monitor but did not get a peak on this cycle. Never happened before but I did forget to test test twice on 2 mornings. Do u think this could be the reason. Also late for af by 3 days took a hpt got a bfn. Just so disheartening. Any advice much appreciated. X
