Fever/hot baths effect sperm?

Question

So my husband was sick yesterday, and was running a fever of 99.6. So it wasn't to high, but since he wasn't feeling good he got in the bath 3 or 4 times something he never does. I heard this can cause an unhealthy pregnancy. Does anyone know if this is true? AF started today and I just want to know if I should take the next few months off?

I will have to call the doctor I guess. I am kind of more worried about him being in the bath. I heard 3 months also.

I'd check with the dr. My husband was very sick a couple of months ago, had a fever for over a week. Dr said to not TTC in that time as the heat isn't good for sperm. Can kill or damage it. Apparently it takes about 3 months to develop. But he was sick for a long time, not just a day or so. GL!

Not sure if a few months necessary. Maybe a month if you are worried?
