Any other PhD/professor/scientist ladies TTC?

Anyone else with a PhD or in academia here TTC? Juggling the stresses of TTC with responsibilities to teaching, your research, and your academic duties is a pain. Can anyone relate?

I went into labor during a final exam in Statistical and Mechanical Thermodynamics and finished the exam, then went home! You can do anything you want to!!

30 year old PhD fellow in history ttc and yes it is stressful. In particular with all the conference travel I do every year. This year I will have been to the U.S. Twice, the UK twice, Portugal and several Scandinavian ones (doing my fellowship in Sweden). Concerned about what to do when I'm pregnant and after with baby.

I did the first half of my PhD in astrophysics as the single mom of an infant, so you can totally do it!

Not PhD but in graduate school getting my masters. I work full time and go to classes in the evening. I just got my BFP last weekend (I'm about 5 weeks) and I'm a little worried about being able to keep up with it all. I would be really disappointed if I ended up having to leave school but I'm just worried about juggling it all. I'm due the beginning of January so it'll be winter break and I'll have a little time off after the baby is born but it still sounds like so much! I don't want to neglect my studies or my baby or my husband for that matter! To the ladies who've done it, how do you make it all work?

I'm a 32 year old postdoc, ttc for more than a year now. My husband is also a postdoc. I feel like the stress of our lives-lack of permanent jobs, uncertainty about the future, intense work expectations, etc.- is the cause of my infertility. Sometimes I think that this isn't the right time for is, since we are in such a precarious situation job wise, and other times I beat myself up for being such a stress case, not able to handle the pressures of my career enough to conceive. I have a gynecologist appointment in 3 weeks to try to figure some of this out, but again I'm not even sure how long I'll be at this job/on this health plan. Trying my best to manage my stress levels, but my husband is just as bad if not worse than me in terms of stress, and it's rubbing off on me.

I'm doing my Masters in Education- I'm in the UK- this degree has taken me 4 years already- can't wait for 2nd June final deadline date!!

I just finished my Master's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology and now I am back in school for nursing, I am trying to teach and go to school. It is proving more difficult than expected. Not to mention I absolutely hate teaching!

Not pregnant yet, but I'm going to apply to grad school for this fall or next spring.

Anyone go into grad school or the medical field with a child already? I want to conceive before I go to grad school, but I am nervous about doing so. It's alway nice to get opinions from people who have experienced it already. My husband is finishing his Masters in Astronautical Engineering and I want to go to P.A. School. We are moving to LA in June as he took a job out there. Lots of things happening for us which is exciting but somewhat daunting at the same time.
