The only issues you have with your mother is that you just can't seem to get along. You always clash and argue and can't seem to keep the peace between each other, however, you are certain that she loves and will treat your child very well.

I can't vote. it depends on why don't have a good relationship.  and that option isn't up there. me and my mom have had a rocky relationship when I was growing up. I'd never not allow her in my son's

My mum and I never go along, we always argue about everything but I would never allow our differences to affect her relationship with my daughter. It's kinda strange coz she treats her grandchildren better than her kids and would do anything for them. I've realized that life is too short for petty fights and stupid arguments. My daughter adores her grandmother and I would never keep them away from each other.

My mother and I have had a sour , abusive relationship for as long as I can remember . She constantly picked on me and bullied me. Screaming and yelling we're a daily occurrence . 
​I could of had it much worse , I tell myself, but it still hurts . 
​I was made to feel stupid, inferior and incapable . 
​She does it to others so now I know as an adult it's not just me. 
​I felt pretty worthless for a big part of my life . 
​i thank her for teaching me to never  do that to my daughter .

My mother had me at 15 and never took care of me. My grandma raised me. When i got older and would visit my mom, i was around hard drugs and abusive men. Now that i am 20 and pregnant and she has had some help, our relationship is improving but it will never be great because i cant trust her. She will be allowed to see our children but with supervision at all times.

Me and my mom aren't close at all, I can't trust her with things and she's kinda scatter brained, she's all about religion and doesn't have a big emphasis on family. She has a lot of major short comings but I've learned that it's who she is and to deal with it, I'm not gonna let her and my kid spend a lot of time together because she's so controlling, manipulating and over all I don't want my kid too much like her, but they can absolutely spend time. It's my siblings and others I worry about my kid being around the most
