Just a vent session here and feel free to chime in with your own peeves. But for me, my body loves to psyche me out.  The months when I feel like all we done everything perfectly and should be pregnant, my period is late. I wait to test until it's been a few days and I'm definitely late. And then BFN. Usually a day or 2 later AF shows her ugly face. My Dr doesn't think it's anything alarming and says it's most likely just stress. But I have to say it sucks monkey balls!! Gosh. Biology's cruel practical joke.
