Normal to go 48 days with out a period??

I have had MULTIPLE ob/gyns tell me my cycles have been fine. I went from 32 days to 45. Wasn't til after i miscarried and saw a new doc that he worked me up and said I had pcos (most likely my whole life.) I got pregnant by chance and that's cuz I hardly ever ovulate. I'm so upset that I've gone 14 years without being diagnosed until recently. It's devastating Cuz it lowers your chances of getting pregnant when you have PCOS and do not ovulate without help of medications. I hate being told that I'm young and time is on My side when I want to be pregnant now and not years from now with the help of fertility medications (which make me a raging bitch). My advice to you is find a new doctor who specializes in PCOS or possibly see a reproductive endocrinologist who will work you up work with you

I'm currently a average 38 day cycle. And today marks day 50... and all the pregnancy tests are negitive. PCOS runs in my family and I'm hoping this is not the first signs of it. Making a Dr. Appointment tomorrow.

I'm in the same boat.. I average 32 to 45 days between cycles and the dr says I'm "fine" in the sense that I should be able to get pregnant but trying to track cycles is almost impossible.

I missed a whole period last month- was 7w2d without anything. Stress maybe? Hormones. It's not "normal" but it is not "abnormal" to occur from time to time either, good luck. ?

Depends on what your cycles are like and if you have started any new med/vitamins etc.
