My husband and I went to the doctors thinking we would find out we were 7 weeks pregnant and would be seeing a heartbeat. Instead we were given the news it was ectopic. I was given an injection the next day. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced an ectopic and how long it took for your body to return to normal. Less than 24 hours after the injection I started what looks like a very heavy period. I went for more blood work today but haven't gotten the results. The first day my hcg level was 3300 and the next day they were 2100. Hoping it continues to drop. Sorry for rambling. Just looking for someone that has gone through this.
