Ladies who have had a baby?

Silly I know but wondering if any mums would like to explain how it felt, what happened when they gave birth, I'm scared :(

I've had three all natural births, no epidural, no pain meds. The best thing you can do is MOVE. Walk, sway, squat, lean, bounce on an excersize ball, whatever feels right. Do not lay in bed and just expect the doctors to do it for you. Read hypnobabies if you think you'll need help with the pain! Having a water birth is a great way to relax!

Mine was wonderful no pain at all without medications. it was perfect. Everyone has different experiences. Some hurts a lot, some are normal, some woman get cranky, some woman desperate, but skme also happy and very excited like me. So we can all tell you pir experiences but your might be unique.

I was in labour for 33 hours tbh I imagined that it would be painfull but for me the pain was horrendous I tried to keep it together my partner was panicking and felt helpless I don't know what I would of done if my mum wasn't there I was only responding to my mums voice lol everyone else was a blur to me until they said my little boys heart rate was slowing then I remember like 5 people in aprons coming in saying they needed to help me deliver and they wheeled in that vacuum machine to try help my baby out then decided to tell me I was too small and needed to be cut sorry tmi I was terrified and wanted to swear at everyone !! I was determined to push out my boy without them attaching that thing to his head and I pushed with every last of my energy before I new it they put him on my chest and I can tell u it was the best moment of my whole life I completely forgot everything that had happened previous and the pain was instantly removed from my thoughts

Well. It's painful lol. Very painful. But well worth it all. The beginning stages of labor, pretty easy. Kind of annoying. But then they start getting intense after a while. Depending on how fast you dialate. I dialated from a 3.5 to a 9 in 45 minutes. And omg let me tell you. Every contraction, intensified. I did all natural. Once it got to the point of being unbearable, after throwing up, I had to push. Pushing for me wasnt bad. Once the baby is out, pain disappears almost. The worst part of it all, was the two stitches. Honestly hun, it is painful, but it won't kill you.

C sections here with both.  Pluses and minuses with this operation instead of vaginal birth.  For pluses, my va-jay jay has never changed since I never gave birth naturally which is a good thing for a marriage!

Downside is by the 2nd c section, scar tissue starts to become obvious and your nerve endings become dulled, warped or even nonexistant in the incision area.   Plastic surgery can help but most don't want anymore cutting in that area unless completely absolutely necessary.

Compared to the unbelievable pain felt during the beginning stages of labor for a vaginal delivery,  Im definitely ok with how my births occured.

Giving birth for me i would say was 50/50... I was good for the first 2hrs.. And those contractions started hitting me and my doctor ordered a epidural and I was on cloud 9, While i was under the epidural i went from 4 cm to 9 cm in an hr and they turned it off so I could get to 10 and push, But my son is 14 now and the light of my life

I loved every minute of it! Do not worry yourself save your energy for pushing rather than screaming. Listen to the midwife ask lots and lots of questions. I was singing to Shayne ward whilst cross stitching. I Had no pain relief. Just gas and air. I wanted to feel everything. it was truly amazing. And if I could fall again (TTC for rainbow baby) I will bring more CDs to sing to lol. Best of luck xxx

I was hospitalized 21 times had contractions mildly throughout the last half of my pregnancy and ended in an emergency c section after 6 or so hours or labor before I got the drugs lol. Overall the worst part was going into the hospital over and over.

I had a C-section. It was a scary thought but it ended up going great. Seeing that baby for the first time makes birth and pregnancy so worth it!

I was in labor for 17 1/2 hours with my son. Honestly up until they okay ' d the epidural the contraction hurt. But I have sciatica and I felt like my back was caving in as well
