Can't plan anything.

Having testing for partners serious fertility issues. Results wont be back for 12 weeks. After that god knows how long before we start ivf. Want to get married though not engaged, feel like I wouldn't even be able to plan a wedding (I would rather plan it for a year at least in advance) because I've no idea when I might get pregnant. Could spend years ttc and going through repeat ivf. Feeling sad. Is that normal or am being a whinging cow bag..
