How do you feel after your first time having sex?

I was pretty giddy! My hubby and I both had sex for the first time on our honeymoon 8 years ago!

I felt a little sad and disappointed. I was with my first boyfriend and it was awkward and over very quickly. Though he was very kind and gentle it wasn't earth shattering like I'd been led to believe sex would be like.

​That feeling of remorse wore off pretty quickly though. I think I was also mourning the official end of childhood and realizing that I'd have a lot more to worry about, including my own reproductive health, as an adult.

​With practice, the sex got better and much more enjoyable. 
​
​Just remember, YOU are in charge of your body and your sexuality. Be responsible and use birth control every time and never let anyone push you into something you're not comfortable doing.

I felt a bit guilty, that maybe I made the wrong decision because it's something you can never get back, but then again I felt more like a woman not a girl. Looking back I'm happy with the person I lost it too, he was my best guy friend and he was a virgin too, but I wish I was older.
