Can you get a false yes+?

I heard sometimes you can get false positives is this true?

There is no such thing as a false positive on a hpt. The hcg level in your body is only made during pregnancy (or if you are on hcg fertility meds, which you would be aware of) It is possible to have a false negative, testing too early before the hcg levels build.
If someone tells you they had a false positive, what probably happened for them was a chemical pregnancy, which is a very early miscarriage, usually not even noticed unless someone was testing very early.

I got one on that exact test last month.  But I'm sure I was rare. And think I had a chemical.  But congrats !

I don't think so. That hormone would have to be in your system for the rest to show positive.
