Question

Has anyone applied for a new job and got an interview have way through there pregnancy and didn't tell the employer?? 
​I currently have a horrible job that is not making me any money, I can barly survive right now! So I have been looking for a new Job the past few months and one has come up but now I'm 25 weeks...... I really want a new job! Not sure what to do :-( oh and at 25 weeks I'm barly showing so I can hide it but.........

I switched jobs at 14 weeks!! I was so nervous, but it's doable!!

While I was interviewing, I wasn't showing so that helped. Once I was offered the job, I did let them know I was pregnant and I was so nervous! But they're all really excited for me and said several times that they're really excited about me joining the team.

​What you have to remember is, in the words of my husband, "they are hiring someone to be with their company for years, not just a few months." In the long term, a few months off is a drop in the bucket! It's scary, but it's doable and for me, made a world of difference! I'm so much less stressed and so much happier which is good for me and my baby!

Thanks very much for the responce, it made me feel a lot better! I'm so nervous! But if it's meant to be then it's meant to be. I hope they don't mind that I'm 25 weeks ? and they want me back after baby!! Yikes!

I have the exact same dilemma as you. I live in the UK and just so scared no one will hire me due to being pregnant. I will want to tell the straight just so they know I will be honest and loyal to them. I'm just so unhappy with my job atm as I feel I'm wing discriminated against. I work in a nursing home and the pay is minimum and the amount I stress and work they put on you isn't worth it. Plus te boss says work comes first!! I'm sorry but my life and family come first before anything. Would love to do something different! It's just scary :( x

Not sure what it's like in Canada, but in the US, they can't ask and you don't have to say. But if you're not there long enough, you can't get FMLA and protect your job while out on maternity leave. But I don't think you have those regulations up north.
