Do you like the Nuva ring and was it effective?

I've been on the Nuva ring 8+year and love it! I am now married to a phamicist. He is huge advocate for it. For a multitude of reasons, one the process of absorbsion happens right at the site of the needed organ! You don't have to ingest it where your stomach acids breast down then absorb the medication through the tissue to pass it into your blood stream to then deliver the needed hormones to your ovaries. I have only once had it come out during intercourse. And trust me you will feel it come out. I have never had a scare or my period is exactly 3 days after I take the ring out and exactly 3 days long - it's a no brained. If you forget to take it out you will start your period. If you have issues putting it in u can use an empty tampon applicator. And you partner can take it out should u need help. It's wonderful coming from a girl who tired the pill, patch and shot. I loved the convienence but it made me a little depressed and not like sex.

I loved the Nuva ring!!! Super easy to use...but hubby could feel it and hated it so had to go back to the daily pill :/

I stopped the Nuva ring about 5 months ago. I was getting a uti every other month and on my last month of using it, I got a kidney infection. My doctor finally confirmed that they were caused by the Nuva ring.

Love the Nuva ring...uses it to regulate period mainly. But  it makes sex painful don't know if i have positioned it right cause it still comes out slightly maybe too big..these are my main concern
