Are any of you Disaster Preppers?

We live in southern Ontario and my husband is starting to create stock piles of dry food and water as well as other supplies. Nothing major, we're not expecting anything huge, but more of a 'just in case' supply. Last winter we had an insane ice storm that prevented anyone from going anywhere, and our power was out for 3 days, and we had absolutely nothing but candles and water lol.  Anyone else prepping for any situations like this? Just curious :)

Yes!!!! In NYC u have to be prepared. Once word gets out there goes all the food, water & salt

Me and my SO plan to become preppers when we move in together but for the time being we are both still living with our parents so it makes it hard to prep

I have an emergency go bag that would last about three days food/water

I wouldn't call us preppers bc we aren't that intense. But we live 30 min from town & in winter time it's not always safe to drive on the icy rds bc the salt trucks don't come out this far. We have 2 small kids so we usually tend to stock up on food/water supplies for winter but not for anything else.

I live in Arizona. This years monsoon caused a lot of flooding and damage to homes and cars but the most we ever get is the giant HABOOB, the dust storms. So if I'm preparing for anything here in AZ it's the zombie apocalypse lol.

Not preppers as such but we are moving back to my parents farm n it's 3miles from the nearest shop, on top of a mountain that has a steep road. 2inches of snow n we're all stuck in so it's always stocked up just in case. Had so many winter days off as a kid cos others could get to school, we couldn't get as far as nextdoor! X-)

We are in Southern Ontario too! The Ice Storm sounded so terrible, we spent it in Barbados. ☺️ But it certainly makes me want to be prepared for this year!
