Plan B?!?

On Saturday (10/11) I took plan B. Yesterday (10/16) I experienced spotting. It got heavier today more like a period. I can't get into the doctors until Monday (10/20) at the earliest. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do?

It's normal to spot or bleed after taking Plan B. That's part of what it is supposed to do- to kinda start an emergency period so an egg can't implant and you can't get pregnant.

​I would call a pharmacist or health center (like a Planned Parenthood) if you're concerned. They can usually help you figure out over the phone if the amount of bleeding you have is normal (which it sounds like it is).

Yes!!! I took Plan B for the first time (and hopefully the last time) late in September and about a week before my period was due I started bleeding. Finally got a real period, which was thrilling since I was supposed to have an iud placed, which I did today. I called my dr just to inquire about the bleeding and she said it was prob just my body reacting to the overload of hormones. When I did get my period it was very light. I had to do the blood pregnancy test anyway before the iud placement. No pregnancy so it was a relief either way!

I experienced the same thing! And then two days later i got my period, in a weird way but it was just my period.
