Is it too early to shop?

I'm 8+5 and saw my baby's heartbeat last week.  I'm excited about the baby as this is my first,  But wonder if it's a bad idea to start buying a few things. I saw some things online on sale and I'm so tempted to buy.  What do you think?

I say go for it. If you feel comfortable then do it. So far I only bought a blanket an a few little items. Just don't buy like furniture or big items just yet(:

It doesn't help that I've worked in a baby/ kids store for the past 8 years lol but I'm pretty sure I have a full wardrobe for a little girl and partial one for little boy. Plus I plan to cloth diaper so every time I have a little money I buy used CD. I've got about 50 diapers now lol ..... And I'm still waiting on my BFP ;).

We bought a swing around this time because we found one on clearance for $50 off. I was a little worried about jinxing myself but now I'm 17w and both baby and I are doing great. If you feel good about it, go for it.

I don't think it hurts to start buying up things, especially if you see a good deal! I wouldn't go overboard though, since you'll probably get a lot of things you need from a baby shower!
