After 4 years of ttc 1 failed ivf, do you give up or keep trying? Cant afford another round of IVF.

Take a break but keep trying. I know of friend of mine who was on the last thing of ivf didn't happen. Tried like2-3 months later and bam the got a bfp!  I know it's hard on you stressful and emotional, just keep your head up.  There is always adoption if it doesn't work out.  My hubby and I talked about that possibility since my first pregnancy (not his baby but we met while I was pregnant)  was extremely hard on my body. I got a serious infection after having my first.  As much as I want to have a baby with my hubby I know that if it doesn't happen the child we adopt, will be just as much ours as our baby would be.

You have to do what it takes to care for yourself and your relationship. If that means to stop and look at other ways to parent/care for children (adopt, foster, nanny), then so be it. If it means to keep trying, then that's what you do.

I suggest you keep in mind, though, that pushing your body and your mind through all much may be more harmful to you than stopping, despite your wish to give birth to a biological child.

Personally, I don't think I would keep going, I think I would need to make peace with it and move on psychologically (though I probably wouldn't go on BC or anything, just in case it could happen).
