1st month & BFN - so disappointed this is harder than I expected
Ok so we have only been trying for a month and done everything right but am so dissapointed my period has started. We tried so hard did ovulation tests to get the right time.
I am nearly 39 and I wasn't totally sure if I wanted kids but realised I was unsure cos I was scared cos I have arthritis and was worried how I'd cope. After seeking advice from a specialist we were given the all clear to try.
Just got my first negative test result and period has just started and I am gutted feel I could cry - realised how very much I do want a baby.
Realise how hard it is what people go through waiting and how suddenly you see babies everywhere.
Some of you I read have been trying for years I don't know how you stay strong. The time wasn't right for me earlier in my life or I wouldn't of left it so late. Really don't want to go down the route of tests (terrified of hospital tests) and fertility treatments but Dr said if no luck after 6mths cos of my age they would give me drugs to boost my eggs.
I've never written here before but really could do with talking to someone who understands not sure my partner understands how much it hurts to get first negative.
