Where's the magic & science at work?

When I first got Glow, I back-entered several month's worth of information I'd tracked on another app (Glow wouldn't let me go back any earlier than March, though, grrr), and I've continued using it for about 2 months now.

But...what "magic & science" are at work here???  I feel like all I've done is a bunch of data entry with no useful or innovative output.  Thoughts?

I actually agree with Melissa. I have used several of these apps and was so excited about Glow but it doesn't seem to have taken much into account as nothing has changed with what it considers my average cycle. It's usually pretty close but a day or 2 off when my other bare bones apps are spot on! Is it supposed to change as you input data? Because so far I basically just use it for some things and still rely on my others for period/ovulation until they work this out.

Also question. Are your cycles regular or do they vary? If you are not regular there is no way to predict your irregularity. Also are you sure you have all your settings correct? Like how long your cycle normally is 26 28 32 days? If you don't have that set correct it cannot properly predict also there is a setting for how long period is 4 days 5 days? In addition to the entry of your data

It's not magic or science. "It" is only as smart as the info yoh provide it with......

It uses the data u enter to make future predictions such as fertile period and period etc the more u enter the more accurate it gets ... Ofc use in conjunction with other things like I do to get a more precise pin point of ovulation
