Need advice :(

Me and my boyfriend have been having sex for a year and a half almost two years. The last time we had sex he tried to make it how I asked him to. Which was slow, deep, full of passion and love. And it was horrible. I didn't even finish. But I said I loved it and even "faked" it. I feel horrible but he tried so hard for me. Has anyone else been in this situation? Where it was not even good? Or am I weird.
