I used to think that till I got engaged. I used to get upset that my friends stopped calling me. I learned that life just gets in the way. And now that I am married I can relate 100% to them. You just got to make the effort yourself. And don't be upset when they are busy or have to reschedule :)

Your SO will be the most important person in your life once you get married. There will not be a closer person to you. With that being said, they will also be the most frustrating person at times, you NEED your girlfriends! You need girl time too! Just like your SO needs guy time!
