Smoking cannabis while pregnant?

Wondering if anybody smoked/smokes during their pregnancy to reduce morning sickness or other symptoms. Or do you find its completely wrong?

I smoked when I was pregnant. I could not keep anything down. Every day, all through the day, I was sick. I was prescribed medication by my doctor to help me eat. Those worked for about half an hour after each pill and even then, when it wore off, I'd be running to the bathroom. It wasn't until my sister had me try cannabis that I felt any relief. It was a lifesaver!! I could finally eat again, and LOTS of food too. There aren't many studies done about medicating while pregnant. I would try to get a prescription from your doctor first just so no one could take away your baby. There are so many stupid "rules" about what is okay/not okay to do while pregnant. Cannabis is a plant. Maybe instead of smoking you could try edibles or vaping!

I personally think it's the healthier option, than sketchy meds such as zofran. There was a study done in Jamaica on women who used it there, and they couldn't find any evidence the it caused birth defects. The problem with studies done in the United States, is that the results came from a large group of woman who did other drugs, smoked cigarettes, and drank. So the results are very skewed. If you're going to do it, I would be cautious and wouldn't tell them when you give birth or at your doctors appointments because they might test and could call CPS. And using the edibles instead of smoke could be better because there is no smoke involved.

Don't smoke! Better safe than 'sorry' ... Cannabis has an affect to cephalogenesis of your Baby! It's although known that Cannabis smoking increases MC and causes disorders of psychological development. I wouldn't risk it! Try to eat dried blueberrys against your nausea. It works.

My mom smoked while she was pregnant with me and my brother, and we turned out perfectly healthy, no health defects or anything. I'm all for it if it helps, weed doesn't do any significant damage to your body anyway.

I did the honey stick that has a little hc for morning sickness. nothing absolutely nothing worked for me so my doctor said to try a little hit of weed when you feel sick or to try some edibles. I went for edibles. ugh my morning sickness was every day 24/7 the smells everything it sucks, in all honesty that's your choice. Talk to your doctor learn about it first before you make your choice learn about it. I did it took me 2 months to figure out if I wanted to try it or not. Personally for me it was the best thing for me to do hope all works out :)

It's a personal decision. I would honestly recommend speaking with your OB or midwife. I personally do for my morning sickness. Maybe instead of smoking, get edibles; like honey sticks so the smoke isn't harmful and your naseau is gone.
