Need opinions!

So my period is a day late today, and I'm having sticky white discharge. It smells exactly like period blood, but it isnt. I have all my normal symptoms of my period, achy head, cramps and gas but no period? Is Aunt Flow stuck in traffic somewhere or could something be wrong? And no, there is no chance I'm pregnant and I am not on birth control nor have I ever been. I know I shouldn't be worried because it's only 1 day late, but I'm just curious to whether it could be something serious. Thank you ladies!
