Dnc? Should i ask for one?

I have had 2 miscarriages but they were both pretty early on. Neither Dr said anything about doing the procedure to scrape you out....DNC? Should I ask for one. Been TTC for over a year. Baby #3.

I think you should get one. I had a miscarriage when my doc was on vacay. His residents told me they would let nature take it's course instead of giving me a DNC. They sent me home like that. I had contractions and everything. I was in so much pain. And I pushed the baby out on my own.no pain killers no anything. I will always have that horrible image. My baby was flushe and it scarrede for life. This wa over two years and I'm still mourning. Don't put yourself through that pain.

Well I had a friend who had trouble conceiving and they did this and she got pregnant within 3 months and she had never had a miscarriage. Since I was so early I don't know if I passed it and have had dark brown, clotty periods since.

They only offer it to you if your body hasn't been able to pass it on itself so if you've passed naturally there is no need for one
