Vaginal pain during intercourse after stopping the pill?

I had been on the pill for roughly 7 years, and decided to discontinue using it about 3 months ago. A week or so after getting off the pill, I started to experience minor vaginal pain during intercourse. At first it was very regular, now it is hit or miss on whether or not i feel discomfort. I also have a relative light soreness throughout some days while going to the bathroom. Though it isn't the same pain that happens during a UTI or bladder infection. It seems to be going away, but considering how long it's been somewhat of an issue, I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this.
