Boyfriend going out to bars.

Does anyone have issues with their boyfriend going out to bars without you? Having a "guys night" Long story short I have a lot of trust issues. me and my boyfriend have been together for almost two years and this is our struggling topic from the beginning. I want to be okay with him going out. I want him to be happy I even go to the point of refraining from hanging out with my friends so he doesn't feel hurt like I do. When the topic of him going out comes up we usually get into a weeklong argument because I'm not okay with it and I don't feel comfortable with it and then when that night comes around I'm usually just an extreme bitch to him for really no reason I don't know what to do. So advice please
