False positive or too early to detect???

Question

So I have had positve tests from the $ store and frer tests for 4 days now. I needed a pregnancy confirmation so that way my insurance will kick into gear. Emergency rooms test were negative! How is that possible? Aren't their tests just as sensitive as the $stores??? The dr knew nothing about really being pregnant at all. Asked questions and he said idk!

Don't go to the ER. Go to tour local Health Dept. Just to be sure, take another one. A lot of the tests they use in the ER aren't only sensitive to 50mcg+, HPTs are sensitive to 25mcg+. A OB/Gyn will be able to draw blood and do a quantitive HcG count.

I went to a womans health clinic that did free pregnancy tests and free limited ultrasounds and that's how I got my confirmation the first time. :) it's a lot quicker than going to a doctors office! I was seen right away and there was no wait. Also my doctor refused to do an ultrasound before 8 weeks so they did one for me! If you look up free pregnancy clinic in your area I'm sure there will be a few :) also they used the more sensitive tests! They also had a program where you can attend meetings and get a free crib, car seat, breast pump, baby monitor, etc. All just from attending meetings! I got a lot of free stuff that doctors didn't offer so I would def recommend doing that if you can find one in your area.?
