Did you tell family and friends after you had a positive test, after your missed period or after it was confirmed by a doctor?

We waited until after the doctors appointment, this time and with our first. We wanted to make sure there was a heartbeat first.

I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks. My husband told very few people, but a week later we lost it. So then e had to go back and tell those people about our loss. I think it would've been easier if no one knew to begin with. I will be waiting til 12 weeks to announce any future pregnancies to anyone.
