Ovarian cyst

I've been going back and forth to my ob and I have a ovarian cyst on my left ovary he was too do surgery but I'm afraid I can't get pregnant after it just a gut feeling he started me on BC pills but I don't want to take them is the any other healthy way I can get rid of this cyst and still be able to have a child???
