I had the depo shot twice about 4 years ago and stopped it after that and it is still in my system. I recently just started getting my period back regular but it still last longer than 5-7 days. Me and my boyfriend (who I consider my hubby) have been friends for 5 years before we started dating a few months ago. We were talking about having a kid down the road but I'm trying to figure out when I should be back to being fertile. Nothing has happened so I know it's most likely in my sytem. And Google isn't really helping me. I'm trying to figure out how long this can last and is there anyway to speed up the process of it coming out of my sytem? It scares me. Got me thinking I might not be able to have kids in the future. My worst nightmare. :(
