How long did it take you to get over your first love/ex?

I've been with my ex for over two years. Broken up for three. It only took me 3 months! To fully get over him after realizing he truly doesn't deserve me.

My first love came around when I was just 15 years old. We dated for a year then we broke up. I never got over it. It took me 2 years to start dating again. I would write him letters (never giving them to him, of course). Then to try and move on I went to one of our special places at a park and buried a box of all the letters and small gifts he gave me. When I turned 18 I was with someone else and randomly got a call from Justin. His gf broke up with him and he called me apologizing for how he hurt me (late but hey). He was about to leave for basic so I secretly went to see him( we didn't do anything because no matter what I will never cheat). I told him about the letters and to my surprise the next day he unburied the box and read through every letter I ever wrote. Fast forward to college. We started texting and calling eachother when he was in tech school, by this point we were both single. Welp, now we are married ttc#1. Wow that was longer than I intended lol

I still think of my first love. Not romantically but just random thoughts. I was with him for 2 years. EXACTLY 2 years!! Then he broke up with me but still wanted to hangout and fool around. Then he got mad because I was talking to guy friend and threw me out. Come to find out, he had been talking to his one female friend who just got out of a relationship with her guy for 3 years. They came over one time and her ex proposed to her and she said no. So  when my ex and her hooked up, so did her ex and I. I know.... Crazy story.

Our relationship fell apart but we still were technically "dating" but once we finally decided to break up I was over him there was no sad feeling.

It took me about two years to start dating again it was really really bad he was my first and i really cared about him. I still don't know what caused the break up but he didn't tel me until later that he cheated while we was dating and used me for sex one night when i stayed over this was after we were broken up. I'm over him but still a little sore by him hurting me because i didn't really deal with it cause i didn't really know how to and still don't because it has never happened before ???? i'm just hoping that it doesn't affect my boyfriend and i's relationship.

Mine gave me a child then disappeared three months after she was born.  It took about five years to get over loving him and I still haven't gotten over the hurt he caused me and my daughter.

My ex was cheating on me and I tried to stay hoping he'd stop but he flat out told me he didn't love me or want me so I left. Just found out after 2 year he has been with his own cousin this whole time and they even have a kid together. The only reason that even came out is because I am pregnant yet again by him but he is denying he's the father until he gets a DNA test. I can now say I don't even have any type of love for him. I deny who he is and we don't even talk. I also refuse to date because of that. Talk about trust issues! ?
