Weight gain?

Question

Did you gain weight after getting on birth control? If so how much and how long did it take before you started gaining weight? I gained a good 10 pounds after being on it for almost a year and it's so frustrating!

Yes I gained about 50 lbs after going on the pill. Being on the pill affected my thyroid which contributed to the weight gain

I gained 49 lbs on the pill and I was only it for 8 months. My weight never went up drastically and stopped, it continued to climb until I stopped the birth control. Ive been off of it for close to 3 months and have been the same weight I was when I stopped. Its hard to lose that weight! And its so frustrating! I was a healthy 155 (being 5'7" with a big bone structure and DDD boobs that's healthy) to being 204 lbs its devastating and motivation is so hard to find :/

I was never on it until after my first baby! I didn't want to get pregnant right after and I was breastfeeding so they put me on a pill. I was almost back to my normal size after baby and after 6 weeks of breastfeeding. Then I get on the pill and blow up like a balloon! It was horrible, depressing and just not what a first time mom needs at that time. So I stopped taking it!

I lost weight on the pill. I was never hungry and would force feed myself at least 1 meal a day. Didn't realize I was losing so much until a couple people asked how I was losing so much weight.
