good sign?

my boyfriend has an iphone & he recently set it to where your texts show up on the screen without having to open it. so instead of it saying "iMessage" or "Text Message" it shows the actual text. we've recently had relationship troubles about trust issues. could this be a good sign on getting our relationship back on track?
