Anybody else's SO play video games all the flipping time??

Okay I'm not even worried about  him not caring enough or stuff like that because he is so very caring... But it's so freakin frustrating!!! He's sensitive to my needs but always has to get his xbox time in.. I just want to say "dude, wait til I go to bed" anyway rant over.. I know I can't be the only one..

What do yall do while the SO is gamin' it up?

When he is on the game I'll clean, bake or knit or read..sometimes I grab a controller and play with him..which he loves even though im not good but if I feel neglected I just get naked..He gets off the game lol..Most of the time we just end up cuddling watching netflix. I do things he isn't always interested in but he will go tinker with the car or just try and see if he can help with what I'm doing or if he maybe will like the girly show I'm watching. We have pretty equal time with tv/xbox, chores, hobbies and each other. Just tell him it's aggravating you. I'll tell my husband to get on the xbox while i cook so by the time dinner is done so is he. Just find something to do..join in or give him a time limit then yall do something together. You can come up with a good solution! :)

I game just as much as my boyfriend, probably more. Try gaming with him. It's actually fun, I love cod ? you have your hobbies, so does he.

My fiancé retreats to games when he needs to think. Or he watches videos about games. Now we are both consider ourselves "Gamers", but I have no problem putting the controller down, stepping afk so on and so forth. He however will spend a whole day just doing that and it bugs me sometimes. I tell him of course and he then helps me and cuddles with me. But it's like a child you have to tell him he is acting childish. Lol

Just talk to him about it. My husband and I both love video games but we ALWAYS make time for eachother. Sometimes he will even come ask me if it's okay if he plays and if I want to spend time with him then he dosnt play and he's fine with it. I do the same. We just make sure the games aren't put before our needs.

I play more than my husband does hahahaha. But we have a son, so when hes playing, i play with our boy. And vise versa.. Teamwork!
