Underwear ?

For the ones that already gave birth . . What kind of underwear do you have to use/buy ? I heard you need to buy granny panties but idk if it's true ? I'm trying to already pack some things to be prepared , but idk about the underwear or braw ? Please help , a picture would be really helpful

Nooo please don't use tampons after birth! Your girly business is pretty much considered an open wound after and even if you have a c section it's still harmful. You'll be passing more blood than your actual period and the tampons can basically harvest bacteria causing infection. I know pads are just awful and uncomfortable but they're so much safer in this situation! The granny panties are for your comfort and basically, like previous posters said, so you don't ruin your good panties lol.

I'm due in March.  Friend of mine gave birth last May.  She said to buy the huge pads even depends because afterwards, the bleeding is quite a bit.  I've read it can last for weeks and can be quite heavy.  She said she brought a couple of cute pjs to wear at the hospital and then she refused to wear them because the bleeding often went through and would ruin anything nice.  She wore what the hospital provided.

You should not wear tampons immediately after birth.  Hospitals supply you with padded undies to wear in the hospial.  But you will probably need maxi pads for a little while after pregnancy. Granny panties would probably be more supportive.

Well from all the YouTube births video thingys I seen you want some underwear that'll feel comfortable I guess and thick pads because you just bleed so much after the birth? I don't think anybody has just worn a tampon but I'm just going off videos and advice I'm pregnant.
