Period during pregnancy??

Question

Is it possible? And still continue with a healthy pregnancy? 
I started spotting brown last week which turned red 3 days ago. Now its more of a period with cramps. Im currently suppose to be 8 weeks. 
There are a few passing of blood clots no larger than a cm but there is more than a usual period. When i had my first ultrasound 2 days ago, there wasnt anything visible so continued for lab test which my first hcg levels were 7650 or so. Now currently waiting to do my second one tomorrow. Beyond scared?

I've had bleeding (bright red) 2 weeks ago and last weekend, my ultrasounds have been fine. It is scary but some women have regular bleeding throughout their pregnancies. I hope everything is ok.

I have had a 'period' every month so far only for 1-2 days but bright red blood! 15 weeks and bubba is all good. Hope you have a sticky been too x

It's possible but they are usually lighter than a normal period.
