Do I have to take it out??

My dr requested I take mine out, but he asked for all my piercings to be taken out due to it not being sterile.  Didn't bother me, put them back in the next day. All was good.

Personally, I'd take it out if giving birth vaginally.  It's a hot mess down there when trying to get things done :-)

take it out just before due day or the dr will want to cut it out. my bf had to take mine out while I was in labour.. NOT PRETTY

I think that's a question best answered by your dr. I'd think when you get pregnant you should take it out before you get too big to see it depending on where you have it done (sorry never looked into those so don't know where it would be) or maybe before you go into labour or even during labour they may take it out?... I'm not sure. I left my belly button in during my whole pregnancy and it looks fine for me.
