What are everyone's thoughts on starting prenatals while ttc?

I have read a bit on the subject and it seems like it could be bennifical. I was thinking of starting on them but due to a health condition I may not be able to just buy OTC .

Yes! This is a good thing to do! Doctor told me it is good to have the folic acid and other vitamins in your system , so when you do get pregnant, those vitamins and nutrients are within your utteran wall are already there for your baby!

I did a general check up with my doc and one of her questions was am I TTC when I said yes she prescribed me prenatal pills says I should be taking them before becoming pregnant during and after if breastfeeding.

It's very smart to start before you conceive. My dr said if you wait until you are pregnant it's almost as if it's too late. The baby needs those vitamins from conception.
