Ttc and not married?

If marriage is something you want. Why would you try to have a Baby with someone before they make the commitment to be with you forever? Just curious . Whatever floats your boat it just doesn't make much sense to me is all.

Honestly, if somebody wants a baby and they're in a position financially, emotionally, and physically to have a baby there's no reason to wait for marriage. Marriage won't keep somebody from walking out.

To each their own it's a new age now a days. People have baby's out of wed lock and it's ok sometimes and people say I do and get divorced 6 months later.

With divorce rates what they are marriage isn't looking so pretty nowadays. The complication of that piece of paper makes it difficult to move on if it comes to that. And unfortunately it is just a piece of paper to many people. My personal opinion? I just mind my own.

What kind of security do you think marriage brings? Is this a religious thing for you?

Someone people just don't even get married.. I know a lot of people who've been together for 10+ years and have children together,someone people just don't bother!

Because a child is a forever commitment, not a wedding ring ?

Because we bought a house had financial stability and both wanted kids. I was wearing a ring when we found out son was coming but it wouldn't have kept out jot down any. And seriously once you meet your child..that man can go if he wants...the love between a mom and child is forever

I agree. I think you should at least test each other in marriage before ttc a child together.

My priority is to make sure we are financially stable, have a house, everything we want.. Not to blow a large portion of money on one day.. Judgemental people are only smiling on the outside. Each to their own. It's 2016..
