What was your miscarriage like?

Hi I'm pretty sure I'm starting to have a miscarriage.  But I don't know what to expect.  I'm six weeks along.  What was yours like and how long did it last?

I had mine at 6 weeks and 2 days. 3 months ago. And it started out with cramping in my lower stomach for about a day then I started bleeding and hurting really bad... Lots of blood clots! And bleed very heavy.

At 5 weeks I had a couple days of light cramping which I thought was normal. Then the morning of the third day I had spotting which I thought was normal.  By the evening of the 3rd day I had heavy bleeding and the worst cramps I have ever had... That's when I knew it wasn't normal; it was a MC.

I went in for my first ob appointment on a Wednesday. They did a Pap smear and told me that if I spotted it was normal (which I already knew). The next day I had very little spotting and it was brown and orangish pink. Next day (Friday) still had spotting, same colors and everything. Mind you I had no cramping. No pressure. Nothing abnormal. Just some spotting of the "safe" color. That night around 8pm I got up from the toilet and it just gushed out. Blood and clots were literally pouring out of me. We went to the hospital and of course they confirmed the miscarriage. I never experienced any pain. The only thing I could think of as a warning sign was that morning I just felt off. Like something was wrong. But I figured I was just crazy and that everything was ok.

I started spotting last Saturday and thought it was normal but when Monday morning came I started bleeding. I went to er and they gave me an rh shot cause of my blood type. I had an ob appt same day got another ultrasound and growth stopped at 4wk 6days. I was supposed to be 8 weeks along. The day before  yesterday I had really bad cramping and my ob called and said my levels dropped dramatically over the past few days. I had to get a prescription for pain  meds I was in so much pain. I passed tissue yesterday and I'm still in pain. I have to take my meds every 3-4hrs so I don't feel it. I'm still bleeding but like if I was having  AF. If you do end up passing tissue it's best to put it in a zip lock bag and save it so they can run tests on it. They say the best way to store it is to put it in the fridge but not everyone is okay with that. I hope everything works out for you and is okay. I wouldn't wish this pain on anyone!!!!

I miss carried st 7 weeks Nov 24th, I had bleeding for several days growing from light to very heavy until passing clots and then tissue, then the bleeding got lighter and then heavier for several weeks. Finally stopped about a week ago. Throughout I had cramps like a normal period and was very sore when the on pressed anywhere on my lower abdomen. I would say that of you see a lot of red blood or clots to see your doctor. So sorry for your stress, I hope this helps and that everything works out.

I had a miscarriage on August 27,13. It wasn't painful, more like a period. I was only 3 weeks along.

I wish I could help, I didn't miscarry naturally, but I have heard it is a lot of bad cramping and bleeding with clots, I hope you aren't, it's an awful thing to go through!
