Need some input

My fiancé and I have been TTC for about 6 months now. I just took my last pregnancy test on Saturday... negative again. This past Wednesday I had a gush of blood which I thought was the start to my period. Thursday very little bleeding and normally I have a heavy flow. Early Friday (today) morning became dizzy, feverish and lower right abdominal pain. Still hardly any bleeding. I have been in bed all day completely exhausted and off and on dizzy. Woke up to sharp pain in lower right abdomen followed with another gush of bright red blood. Called Dr and they said to wait it out but if the pain intensifies to go to ER. Has anyone had anything like this? Or can anyone comment on what might be happening? I have myself all freaked out and don't know what I should do.
